Active Play Street Hockey League
About the APHL
The Active Play Hockey League is a co-ed street hockey league for youth players. Teams will face-off against one another in a six-game season to determine seeding for an end of season tournament (one day event).

- For Ages 5-10, for all experience and skill levels!
- League will be made up of three divisions
- Sign up for a division which are recommended* by age groups. (5yrs-6yrs, 7yrs-8yrs, 9yrs-10yrs).
- Each team consists of 8-rosters spots
- Games will be played 4v4 with goalies to make it 5 on the court at a time.
- Games will be held on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) played between 3pm-8pm depending on your team division and schedule
- Games are 50 minutes long consisting of a 5 minute warm up, two 20 minute halves plus a 5 minute halftime.
- Games will be held in Bethesda MD, Location TBD.
- Practices will be a first come first serve option for player in the league
- Practice options will be made available shortly after league registration closes

Spring 2025 Street Hockey League Information
Come join us for our Spring Active Play Street Hockey League season! Our league is for boys and girls (ages 5-12) of all experience levels and is built around learning the game of hockey, teamwork, sportsmanship and friendly competition. ​​​​​​

Who - We have 3 age divisions: Squirts (5/6 year olds), Pee-Wee (7/8 year olds) and Bantam (9-12 year olds)

Dates - March 29th - May 31st

Location - Both Practice and Game Days are at Key Elementary School 5001 Dana Pl NW, Washington, DC 20016

Practice - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 6 - 7 PM (You pick 1 for the season)

Game Days: Saturdays, 11 AM–3 PM (1-hour game duration, based on team schedule).

Rough Game Day Time Slots by Age Group:

5–6-year-olds: 11 AM–1 PM

7–8-year-olds: 12 PM–2 PM

9–12-year-olds: 1 PM–3 PM

Cost: $500.00 + credit card fee
Registration Includes: Personalized game jersey, stick, player card, weekly practice, game days, and end-of-season tournament ** In order to receive a personalized jersey with your player's name and number on the back, YOU MUST REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 23rd. All registrations AFTER the February 23rd deadline will receive a team jersey with 00 on the back.
